Website privacy notice

How we handle personal information collected through this website.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

This notice covers the ronjac.com website only — visiting these pages and sending us a demo or pricing enquiry.

If you are a driver or member of staff using the Ronjac app, a different notice applies to you: see the Ronjac app privacy policy. If you are a customer of ours, the handling of your drivers’ data is governed by the data processing agreement between us, not by this notice.

Who we are

This website is operated by Plado App Ltd, trading as Ronjac. For the information described in this notice, we are the data controller.

What we collect, and why

When you send us an enquiry

Our contact form asks for your name, work email address, company name, the size of your fleet, and anything you choose to write in the message box. We use it to reply to you, arrange a demo if you want one, and follow up about that enquiry.

All of these fields except your name and email address are optional, and you are free to tell us as little as you like in the message box. If you would rather not use the form at all, you can email us directly.

When you simply browse

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising or tracking technology, and no third-party embeds. Nothing is stored on your device, and we do not build a profile of you or track you across sites.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which record things like the IP address making a request, the page requested and the time. These are generated automatically by the web server and are used to keep the site running and secure.

Our lawful basis

InformationPurposeLawful basis
Enquiry form details Replying to you and arranging a demo Legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you sent us. Where the enquiry leads towards a contract, taking steps at your request before entering into it.
Server logs Keeping the website available and secure Legitimate interests — operating and protecting our own website.

We do not use your enquiry to send you unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or share your information for anyone else’s marketing.

Who else handles it

We use two service providers to run this website. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

ProviderWhat they doWhere
Formspree, Inc. Delivers the contact form submission to us by email United States
IONOS Hosts this website and generates the server logs described above European Union

Because Formspree operates from the United States, submitting the form involves a transfer of your details outside the UK. That transfer is made on the basis of appropriate safeguards for international transfers. If you would prefer your enquiry not to leave the UK, email us at michael@ronjac.com instead of using the form.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If your enquiry leads to you becoming a customer, your details are kept for the life of that relationship under our agreement with you instead.

Server logs are kept for the short period our hosting provider retains them, and are not used for anything beyond running and protecting the site.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email michael@ronjac.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason to ask us to delete an enquiry.

We do not make any decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how this website handles personal information — for example by adding analytics, which would also mean asking for your consent to cookies — we will update this notice and change the date at the top.
